From the eye of the artist the human form is the most dynamic poetic creation on Earth. It encapsulates and literalizes all the yearnings, power, and complexity of the human emotion. The human form is the housing of the human spirit.

As I got interested in figurative art, I looked to the masters of the past: Rodin, Michaelangelo and others. Their treatment of the figure and their choice of stone and paint encouraged me to use Conti crayon and gesso.
This media gave me the ability to express the human form with richness and quality.
My major goal is to encourage the public to appreciate the power of the human from. I hope they will view my work and realize that I have reached my goal.
